they really should ban these ..... they grow BIG ......
fishes of these proportions are not something you keep in the
house, unless you've got an olympic pool ....
God knows what would happen a tigerfish or alligator gar would
do to the local fishes in the central catchment reserves if they
were released ...
Well I only agree to a certain extend
I think they should ban the Alligator Gar and the Florida gar,
but not all gar species
Florida Gar because it's so cheap and Alligator coz it's cheap and
huge, but not the expensive ones like the Cubans, Tropicals etc
because those people who buy them usually won't release them due to
resale value
Same goes for the Goliath Tigerfish. A large one goes in the
range of 4 digits.
Can export overseas for sale too
